On Friday, July 11, Nic leads the Aspen Chamber Symphony in a thrilling program, starting with Mozart’s lively and sophisticated "Paris" Symphony, a work full of youthful energy and musical charm. Then, on Thursday, July 17, the celebration continues with the ever-popular annual Baroque Evening. Nic has curated an engaging and varied program including Rameau’s vibrant Castor et Pollux edited by Graham Sadler, rich in mythological storytelling. Bach’s delightful Violin Concerto in E Major spotlights the exceptional young talent Yvette Kraft, whose expressive virtuosity breathes fresh life into this classic. The festive atmosphere concludes with Handel’s jubilant Water Music Suite, promising an evening that is both elegant and exhilarating.
